Exhibition catalogue to accompany the Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art's 2005 exhibition of Isaac Julien's video installations, displaying his films 'True North', 'Baltimore' and 'Paradise Omeros', which look at the experience of black migrants to America. The catalogue contains colour stills from the three films, plus an essay and interview with Julien in which he discusses the relationship of his films to other works such as Paul Gilroy's book 'The Black Atlantic' and blaxploitation cinema.
