A small cigarette card from 1938 depicting the actor George Robey beneath himself dressed in the robes and dress required for the part of Sir John Falstaff in 'King Henry IV (Part one)' by William Shakespeare. The images are in colour and the front side reads 'Ogden's cigarettes: George Robey'. The reverse side names the series as 'Actors natural and character studies' and notes this card is 44th in the series of 50.The text on the back praises Robey's ability to use make up to obscure his usual look and large prominent eyebrows. The bottom of the reverse side features the logo of Ogden's cigarettes and trademark information.
